Former Indian batsman Yuvraj Singh and England batter Kevin Pietersen have often exchanged banter on Twitter. Both the former players never miss a chance to pull each other’s leg on the social media platform. Subsequently, Yuvraj Singh took a dig at the former England batsman when the former praised Rohit Sharma for his fourth World Cup hundred of this edition.
Yuvraj Singh had earlier made the prediction that Rohit Sharma is going to be the Player of the tournament. Singh had shared his prediction after Rohit Sharma had scored a blistering hundred against Pakistan on 16th June.
Subsequently, Yuvraj Singh once again took his Twitter account and said that Rohit Sharma has inched closer to the Man of the tournament award after scoring his fourth hundred of the ongoing edition of the World Cup.
Yuvraj Singh post read as, “And

Subsequently, Kevin Pietersen tried to pull Yuvraj Singh’s leg as he said it would not happen if England wins the World Cup. His Post read as, “Not if England wins the WC, Pie-Chucker!”

Then Yuvraj Singh told Kevin Pietersen that he is talking about the Player of the tournament rather than winning the World Cup. The southpaw batsman who recently announced his retirement stated that England should qualify first for the semifinals before thinking of winning the World Cup.
Let’s qualify first and then talk about wining ? and I’m talking about mos trophy not winning !

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma was on song as he scored his 26th ODI hundred. The right-hander was able to hit the ground running and batted in the topmost gear. In fact, Rohit Sharma had the rub of the green on his side as he was dropped by Tamim Iqbal when he was only on nine runs.
