Ahead of the mouth-watering clash against Pakistan, India skipper Virat Kohli has sent out a timely reminder to all the teams. The Men in Blue are one of the firm favourites to win the ongoing World Cup and have started the tournament on a strong note. In their tournament-opener, they thrashed South Africa before seeing off Australia.

Their third clash against New Zealand was then washed out. India are one of the two unbeaten sides in the competition and will be keen to maintain that run against their arch-rivals. The form is in India’s favour at the moment. While India are looking unbeatable in the tournament, Pakistan have struggled for consistency.

Pakistan have managed to win just one win in four games with one of them also getting washed out. The Men in Green beat hosts England but lost to West Indies and Australia. And as India look to continue their unbeaten start to the World Cup, Kohli has fired a warning at Pakistan as well as other teams.

Speaking on the eve of the clash in Manchester, the India star said that his team can beat any opposition if it play its best cricket.

“If we play at our best, we will beat anyone,” Virat Kohli told the reporters.

With the fans from both India and Pakistan desperately waiting for the clash, Kohli also had a word of advise for them. The India skipper asked the fans to treat the game just as another clash, saying:

“It’s a cricket match, enjoy.”

Meanwhile, the history is also in India’s favour. India have never lost to Pakistan in the World Cup. Both the teams first met in the World Cup in 1992 and have played six games since then. On every occasion, India have emerged victorious so far.
