India are making waves across all formats of the game and are on an unbelievable match-winning streak ever since semi-final exit from the ICC World Cup 2019. Their most recent success came against Bangladesh in T20I series and two-match Test series, with the hosts winning 2-1 and 2-0 respectively. Now, Virat Kohli & Co are set to host West Indies for the upcoming limited-overs series comprising 3 T20Is and as many ODIs.

Virat Kohli & Co have already thrashed West Indies across formats in the overseas conditions and now they invite Kieron Pollard’s teammates on their home soil with the first T20I opener scheduled to be played on December 6 (Friday) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. Indian players have already reached the location and started their preparations for the match.

Meanwhile, the Indian cricket team’s social media handle took to Instagram to share a video clip of Indian captain Virat Kohli, vice-captain Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul hitting the nets. “Guess the three batsmen in the nets? #TeamIndia #INDvWI,” the caption read on the micro-blogging platform.

On the contrary, West Indies have been here in Lucknow for their just-concluded series against Afghanistan winning the three-match ODI series by 3-0 and T20I series by 2-1. The Jason Holder-led team also dominated the Afghans in the one-off Test and would be vying to carry the same impetus in the limited-overs series against India. Following the Windies series, India are scheduled to play Sri Lanka in a 3-match T20I series before hosting Australia in a three-match ODI series.
