Independence Day 2018: Sania Mirza's Reply to Shoaib Malik's Wish is Winning the Internet

Sania Mirza took her sweet time out to reply to her husband and Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik’s message on the occasion of India’s 72nd Independence Day.

Meanwhile, Malik has send his wishes to all Indians around the globe including his wife Sania Mirza. Independence Day is a day to remember the people who fought the Britishers and gave up their lives to free the country from the hands of the Britsh rule. It was after a long struggle, India finally managed to attain their independence.

Indians across the country also hoist the tricolour to celebrate the day.  On Independence Day, the Prime Minister greets the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort in New Delhi. Parades take place in all state capitals and district headquarters to celebrate Independence Day.

However, there are many speculations among intellectuals if India is really an independent country when their own people are starving to death. Wishes started pouring from all spheres of the world since the clock ticked 12 as the people erupted in joy.

Meanwhile, there were recent speculations over their Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik’s marriage. She also claimed that she didn’t marry Malik to unite both the countries.

“A lot of people have this notion that Shoaib and I got married to unite the two countries. That is not true. Whenever I have been to Pakistan – and I go once every year to meet my in-laws – the love that I get there is immense. The whole country calls me ‘bhabhi’, and they give me so much respect,” Sania Mirza said.

Shoaib Malik wishes India on Independence Day

The Pakistani veteran batsmen wished all Indians around the globe on this auspicious occasion.

Tennis star Sania Mirza gave a heartwarming reply her husband’s post. She posted an emoticon while retweeting Shoaib Malik’s tweet.
