Once again, the former Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar showered words of praise on the Indian National Cricket Team for their brilliant cricketing skills during the final game against Bangladesh at Nagpur. He feels that the Indian team has shown, who is the boss on last Sunday facing Mahmudullah-led side.

During the final T20I, Deepak Chahar took a sensational six-wicket haul, including a hat-trick after entertaining half-centuries from Shreyas Iyer and K L Rahul, to help India defeat a self-destructing Bangladesh in the third and final T20 International to win the series 2-1.

Chasing 175, Bangladesh looked all set to take the game away when Mohammad Naim and Mohammed Mithun stitched a 98-run partnership. However, the Bangla Tigers lost a flurry of wickets and were bundled out for 144 on Sunday.

Bangladesh side is not the same as before – Shoaib Akhtar

In his latest YouTube video, Shoaib Akhtar said India might have lost the first match but then stand-in captain Rohit Sharma played brilliantly in the second clash and helped India level the series. Shoaib Akhtar, 44, also feels Bangladesh are a side to beat now as they have improved their performances in the past few years.

“India proved who is the boss in the match, they lost the first match against Bangladesh, but then when Rohit Sharma returned in the second T20I to play long innings, he’s a great talent, can score any time,” Shoaib Akhtar said on his latest YouTube video.

“In the third T20I we expected it to be a good contest, though it was one, India came out as a much better side and hats off to Bangladesh. Bangladesh is a team to beat, by the way, they are no ordinary side, this is not the same Bangladesh side which played 20 years ago. This is a side who will be challenging to you,” Akhtar added.

Well, as Shoaib Akhtar said, the Indian National Cricket Team displayed quality cricketing skills to seal the series out of nowhere. Now, they will lock horns with the Bangladesh Team in 2-match Test series, in which, the 2nd Test will be played under the lights.
