India’s marathon tour of the United Kingdom (UK) will get underway with the shortest version of the series in Ireland. The Men in Blue will visit Ireland before jetting off to England. Virat Kohli and his men will play two Twenty20 International games against Irish team.

Sony Pictures Networks India (SPN) has acquired the exclusive media rights to telecast the 2018 India’s Tour of Ireland.
Moreover, the matches will be broadcasted at 8:30 PM IST with English commentary on SONY SIX and SONY SIX HD and Hindi commentary will be available on SONY TEN 3 and SONY TEN 3 HD.
After the tour, India will visit England for a full-fledged series. The teams will play three T20Is, as many One-day Internationals which will be followed by gruelling five-match Tests.
The T20I series will get underway on July 3 at Old Trafford in Manchester. The ODI series will start on July 12 in Nottingham whereas, the Test series will be beginning from August 1 in Birmingham.
Before leaving India, India skipper Virat Kohli said his team was now hungry and keen to play the Test series in England.
“This is another series as far as I am concerned individually. But for us as a team, this is a very exciting time because we are actually looking forward to playing more difficult Test cricket after what happened in South Africa. That I feel is the best thing that can happen to any side,” Kohli revealed in a pre-tour press conference.
“You don’t want to go to England and say ‘oh, the Test series is one month [away]’. We want it to actually be sooner. It is just a great phase for Indian cricket,” he concluded
