It was a sluggish wicket in the Vizag T20I where it was difficult for the batsmen to get quick runs. India managed only 126 after they were put into bat by Australian skipper Aaron Finch. KL Rahul was the sole Indian batsman who got going but apart from him no other batsman could get going. There were cracks which had helped the spinners of both sides. We at Cricket Addictor brings you the latest pitch report of the second T20I.

On the other hand, the Bangalore pitch is expected to yield more runs than the Vizag track. The local boy KL Rahul can come into action once again and he would like to hit the ground running.

Bangalore Pitch will produce runs.

Meanwhile, India’s rookie spinner all-rounder Krunal Pandya expects more runs from the Bangalore track. Thus, the batsmen would be licking their lips.

“I guess the wicket looks good here in Bengaluru, obviously I expect it will be better what it was in Vizag so we expect more runs on this wicket compared to Vizag,”Krunal revealed ahead of the second T20I in Bengaluru.

Here is the pitch report

Sunil Gavaskar has reported that there is a tinge of green grass on the pitch. Thus, the fast bowlers can come into action. The new ball bowlers and spinners will get help from the surface. Furthermore, there would be a true bounce in the pitch. Gavaskar said the team batting first will look to bat first as dew factor could come into play.

Meanwhile, Murali Kartik and Sunil Gavaskar said while talking in the pitch report, “Fair amount of grass means the ball will zip around a bit. There are a few cracks as well to interest the spinners. The grass should also hold the pitch together”.

On the other hand, Australia had drawn first the first blood after they won the nail biter by three wickets. India could only manage 126 after KL Rahul played a good knock of fifty.
