India will be hosting Australian cricket team for the limited overs format ahead of the Indian  Premier League 2019. They will be touring India to play in 2 T20I games and 5 One-Day matches.

The respective board announced dates and venues for the 7 games, which will be played between February and March. The first T20I of the series will be played on February 24th at Bengaluru while the second T20I is scheduled to be played on February 27th at Vishakhapatnam.

Coming to ODI fixtures, it will begin in Hyderabad on March 2nd followed by the game at Nagpur on March 5th. Then it will be the homecoming for Mahendra Singh Dhoni, as it is played in Ranchi on March 8th.

Following it, the fourth and Fifth ODI of the series will be played on 10th and 13th of March respectively at Mohali and Delhi. This time, BCCI has been very selective in their venues preference.

With India creating history in Australia, Australians would like to take an act of revenge against India by winning as the visitors. Besides that, it would also be a great time for certain players to fix their position for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2019.
