India vs Australia 2019: Is Virat Kohli Adam Zampa's Bunny? The Aussie Spinner Anwers

Indian National Cricket team skipper Virat Kohli has got out three times in as many matches in the ongoing five-match ODI series against Australia. And incidentally, leg-spinner Adam Zampa has got him out each time despite going for many runs.
Meanwhile, Kohli while chasing a massive target of 314 runs, Kohli played a classical knock of 123 from 95 balls – his back-to-back century against Australia – to keep India in the hunt before Adam Zampa bowled him at a crucial juncture. India’s chances faded away once Kohli got out as they finished 32 runs short at Ranchi. While talks were going round that Zampa has made Virat Kohli his bunny, the leg-spinner has nothing to say other than praising the talismanic run-scorer.
Virat is a serious player
During his knock, Kohli added yet another feather to his illustrious cap. The talismanic runscorer became only the fourth Indian captain ever to score 4000 runs in ODIs. Virat Kohli joined the elite list which already has big names of MS Dhoni (6641), Mohammad Azharuddin (5239) and Sourav Ganguly (5104) ahead of him. Adam Zampa while speaking after the game admitted that he was under pressure after the Indian skipper struck him for few boundaries. Zampa shared high praise on the Delhi cricketer acknowledging that he is one of the hardest to bowl.
“Virat is a serious player, it was good to take his wicket when we did. I don’t think he’s my bunny; he’s one of the hardest players to bowl to. I was under a bit of pressure; if he had hit a couple of more boundaries, the momentum would have shifted towards them. The message from the management and the coach was to take wickets; the mindset was the same,” Adam Zampa said after the match at Ranchi.
Speaking about his own bowling, the leg-spinner noted that the wickets in India are good and the outfields are fast. The Ranchi ground saw a lightning-fast ground as the balls raced away once it crossed the infield. Zampa, in conclusion, added that these grounds determine your bowling in India.
“The wickets here in India are pretty good and the outfield fast, that has a say in your bowling,” he concluded.
However, Adam Zampa still has a lot of work to do ahead of the ICC World Cup as he has struggled to contain runs in the middle overs.
