Team India is enjoying a rich vein of form in the limited overs format and is winning almost everything which is coming there way. Currently, they are enjoying a 2-0 lead in the 5 match ODI series against Australia and looks all set to clinch the series in Ranchi tomorrow. In the last two years, the Men in Blue have come along a long way especially in the limited overs format and is undoubtedly one of the serious contenders for the 2019 World Cup.
Ahead of the 3rd ODI in MS Dhoni’s hometown, the Indian players were seen smashing some giant sixes in the next. In the video shared by the BCCI on their twitter handle, it is MS Dhoni who started the round with some huge shots. Virat Kohli, Ravindra Jadeja, Ambati Rayudu and Yuzvendra Chahal also tried their hand in the six-hitting challenge.

Meanwhile, the home team are currently enjoying an impressive run in the 50 overs format. Despite losing the last two T20I series against Australia and New Zealand, India have managed to win both the ODI series and are on the verge of yet another series win in the 50 overs format. The visitors will be disappointed after losing the first two matches. They were in a position of winning both the matches but fell short in the final phase of both the matches.

There are possibilities that India might opt for a few changes in tomorrow’s encounter. Leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal who has not been part of the playing XI in the first two ODI’s is expected to play a part in Ranchi. In that case, Kuldeep Yadav might be rested for the clash. India has a serious problem of plenty. It would be interesting to see which squad they select in the 2019 World Cup. Australia, on the other hand, would look to get back to winning ways before the series is already done and dusted.
