India’s all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja and wicketkeeper MS Dhoni combined to get rid of dangerman Glenn Maxwell. Shaun Marsh had hit the ball towards the cover region where Ravindra Jadeja was positioned. Jadeja was able to half-stop the ball but Shaun Marsh and Glenn Maxwell decided to take on the arm of the best Indian fielder.

The southpaw all-rounder was quick to get to the ball and fired his throw to the striker’s end. MS Dhoni, who is well known for his smart glovework, deviated the ball towards the stumps. Dhoni gave direction to the ball and Glenn Maxwell was well short of his ground. The legendary wicketkeeper MS Dhoni didn’t give much of a reaction as he normally celebrates in a sedate manner.

Dhoni’s smart work was once again in action.

Meanwhile, it was a crucial wicket for the hosts as Glenn Maxwell was taking the game away from the Men in Blue. Maxwell had scored a quickfire knock of 47 runs off just 31 balls with the help of three fours and as many sixes.

Subsequently, India has been successful in pulling back the things after Australia got off to a flyer. Indian skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to bowl first in the ongoing third ODI.

The visitor’s openers Aaron Finch and Usman Khawaja added a gargantuan partnership of 193 runs for the opening stand. Finch scored a fluent knock of 93 runs to return back into form with the help of 10 fours and three sixes.

On the other hand, Usman Khawaja scored his maiden ODI hundred. The left-hander batted at the top of his game as he scored 104 off 113 balls laced with 11 fours and one six. Meanwhile, Kuldeep Yadav has been the pick of the Indian bowlers as he has taken three wickets. Thus, India was able to get back into the contest.
