Australia can absolutely take pride in the fact that they have outclassed India in the ODI series last time when they played in the Indian conditions. The Aussies have won three times in a row against the strong Indian side in the last three ODIs which is quite a staggering record.

The visitors have not played ODI cricket since the World Cup 2019 and they will lock horns with India in the three-match ODI series. The first match is scheduled to be played at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on January 14 (Tuesday).

On the other end of the spectrum, Team India have two of their first-choice players available in their set up, with star all-rounder Hardik Pandya and veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar still away from the game owing to injury.

Despite all that, India, in their own den, are an incredible force to be reckoned with. The Men in Blue have performed really well against the likes of South Africa, Bangladesh, West Indies and Sri Lanka at home. They will be looking forward to approaching the upcoming ODI series against Australia with full of zest and confidence.

However, the touring party would give Indians a tough task keeping in mind that they have been in sensational form of late. They are mentally strong as they have beaten India in the previous ODI series on Indian soil. Virat Kohli-led team will be eager to take revenge from Aaron Finch-led team.

Weather Forecast

Cricket fans wouldn’t have to worry about rain gods because the showers have not been forecasted. According to the meteorological department, the weather is going to be slightly overcast and quite windy in Mumbai on Tuesday.

Needless to say, the clouds might cut down the chances of dew which is always a massive factor on the Indian grounds, especially during winters. It has been learnt that the temperature will be in the range of 21-27°C throughout the whole day meaning that it wouldn’t be that cold enough.
