Perhaps, the place in Indian National Cricket Team is the most desirable job at present in the country. A lot of competition is going on for particular slots, which are available to bag ahead of the ICC World Cup 2019. Meanwhile, Kedar Jadhav, the golden player for India believes it is a piece of great news for the Indian Cricket.

Kedar Jadhav, who made his comeback into the Indian team after being injured in the Asia Cup 2018, quoted that he can’t comment on the player selection, as he feels that it is the job of the selectors. He feels that his call won’t really matter for a certain inclusion or exclusion.

The return of Hardik Pandya into the team is a straight shoot-out between him and Vijay Shankar, who recently received a call-up. Meanwhile, Kedar Jadhav is performing brilliant in all departments to stay in the playing XI. On the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja is also pushing for the place in the India team.

Everybody is trying to give their best – Kedar Jadhav

Speaking of the same, Kedar Jadhav quoted that the players, who are at their best will be travelling to England for the ICC World Cup 2019. He believes that the selectors will make the right decision ahead of picking the squad for the grand event.

“It is a good thing for any team that more guys are competing for one spot. So every time any guy gets an opportunity, he will know that he needs to perform. It’s not about what I think about my selection. Whether I accept it or not, it’s not in my hands. It is the selector’s call and the best 15 will go. Everybody is trying to put their best foot forward and when you play for India, there is bound to be competition and you have to be at the top of your game,” said.

Kuldeep Yadav and Chahal are assets – Kedar Jadhav

Further, he also showered words of praise on Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal. The Maharashtra born cricketer quoted that the Wristy duo is the major assets of the Indian National Cricket Team, especially, in the major event.

“Kuldeep and Chahal are our key assets in middle overs and as a team, we back them totally. Most of the teams find it difficult to score against them and eventually if we put runs on the board, then teams have to take a risk against them and that works for us,” Kedar Jadhav inferred.

Well, it would be interesting to see how selectors would cope up with the selection headaches. Most probably, it is going to be harsh on a few players, as there are only a few slots available in the ranks for the team.
