India vs South Africa 2019: 3rd Test – Weather Forecast
Team India will hope to consolidate their top spot in the ICC World Test Championship inflicting a whitewash over South Africa in the third Test in Ranchi. The final game of the tour will get underway from October 19 (Saturday) at the JSCA Cricket Stadium.
South Africa will have to produce a much-improved effort from their last two games to provide any resistance to a dominant Indian side. Meanwhile, the Proteas have failed to come to terms with the retirements of stalwarts such as Hashim Amla, Dale Steyn and AB de Villiers. The top-order has failed to put runs on the board which has put extra pressure on the middle-order.
The spinners have also failed to match up with their counterparts in terms of quality. The pacers extracted some assistance from the Pune but the Indians have dominated. They will have a lot of work on to come out all guns blazing in the final game of the tour.
On the other hand, India will hope to keep up the winning streak in Ranchi and extend their lead in the top of the points table for the ICC World Test Championship. They registered 11 consecutive series wins beating South Africa in the last match.
With important points up for grabs, Virat Kohli & Co are unlikely to make havoc changes to their winning combinations.
