South Africa will have to produce a much-improved effort from their last two games to provide any resistance to a dominant Indian side. Meanwhile, the Proteas have failed to come to terms with the retirements of stalwarts such as Hashim Amla, Dale Steyn and AB de Villiers. The top-order has failed to put runs on the board which has put extra pressure on the middle-order.

The spinners have also failed to match up with their counterparts in terms of quality. The pacers extracted some assistance from the Pune but the Indians have dominated. They will have a lot of work on to come out all guns blazing in the final game of the tour.

On the other hand, India will hope to keep up the winning streak in Ranchi and extend their lead in the top of the points table for the ICC World Test Championship. They registered 11 consecutive series wins beating South Africa in the last match.

With important points up for grabs, Virat Kohli & Co are unlikely to make havoc changes to their winning combinations.

Weather Forecast

According to the MeT department, the weather will remain clear throughout the five days of the match. Though there will cloud cover for sure, that might make it easier for the bowlers to bowl.

The temperature is likely to hover around 28 Degrees Celsius; however, with humidity on the higher side, the real feel will be around 34 Degrees Celsius. There will be win blowing in the ground which might come in handy for the fast bowlers.
