High-flying Team India will be confident of winning when they take on South Africa in the first of the three-match T20I series. India enter this series on the back of a stunning tour of West Indies. India thoroughly dominated West Indies in their own backyard and ended the entire tour without losing a single game.

India beat the hosts 3-0 in T20Is, 2-0 in ODIs before blanking them in the two-Test series. Unsurprisingly, India are the firm favourites for the series against the Proteas who have struggled to perform consistently in recent times. South Africa are yet to play a single game since their disastrous campaign in the World Cup. They will be the underdogs for the clash but will take confidence from their last tour of India when they won the T20Is and the ODIs.

Toss delayed due to rain.

The match has been abandoned without a ball bowled.
