Virat Kohli scores his 37th ODI hundred.

Team India skipper Virat Kohli continued his brilliant run with the bat as he brought his 37th ODI hundred during the ongoing 2nd ODI against Windies at Visakhapatnam.

Meanwhile, Kohli broke an array of records during unbeaten 157 runs knock in the second fixture. In doing so, he became the fastest batsman to score 10,000 one-day international runs in just 205 innings. Kohli reached the milestone after adding only 81 runs to arguably become the greatest of all time.

However, batting didn’t look to be as easy as it appeared in the opening game. Yet, India went past 300 once again to finish with 321 for six, out of which Kohli made an unbeaten 157. The track looked to be on the slower side and India made the right call to include Kuldeep Yadav and opt to bat. The home side also lost openers, Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan, early that allowed them to have a look at Ambati Rayudu, the latest entrant in the number four roulette.

The duo added 139 runs for the third wicket as India bossed the Windies bowling attack. Rayudu did enough to justify his selection adding 73 crucial runs while playing the second fiddle to Virat Kohli. Although Rayudu departed Kohli continued his flawless batting to bring his 37th ODI hundred.

Can’t blame him too, who would celebrate madly if they do something like it’s a habit. He showed his bat and indicated that the willow will do all the talking.
