India vs Windies 2018: 2nd T20I, Lucknow – Windies’ Predicted XI; After a debacle in the first game of the series, the visitors would like to make a stern comeback. With the series at stake, expect Carlos Brathwaite-led side to come up with all their guns blazing. Meanwhile, we figured out the Windies Predicted XI for the 2nd T20I in Lucknow.

Windies Predicted XI:

1. Shai Hope:

Perhaps, they might continue with Shai Hope at the top. He was in incredible form in ODI format against the very same opposition, and hopefully, team management would hope him deliver the goods, as the top. Unfortunately, he got dismissed in the run-out fashion during the first T20I of the game.

2. Dinesh Ramdin:

The move to open with Ramdin hasn’t worked for the team. But, he would certainly get one more chance, as he is the only available option to play at the top with Nicholas Pooran getting benched. However, expect a decent knock from Ramdin, as per his recent form at the top-order in the Carribean Premier League.

3. Darren Bravo:

Windies might switch Shimron Hetmyer with Darren Bravo at number three slot. Bravo has been in the sensational form and got the knack to make use of powerplay overs. On the other hand, Hetmyer doesn’t require any powerplay options to yield runs for his side. Hopefully, Darren Bravo would get the promotion in batting.

4. Shimron Hetmyer:

Hetmyer would probably take number four role by pushing Kieron Pollard to bat a little down. Shimron has been in the top nick when he faced Indians in the ODI format of the game. Despite coming into his favourite format, he failed to show his skills. However, he is always a dangerous customer to deal with.

5. Kieron Pollard:

Kieron Pollard might take number five place with Bravo getting the promotion. Over the years, Pollard has played at number five for many franchises and also a top-notch performer in finishing matches as well. Besides his batting skills, Pollard can be useful in rolling his arms for a couple of overs as well.

6. Sherfane Rutherford:

Yes, they might hand debut cap to Rutherford. He has been a regular headliner in the domestic cricket and also got the skills to take away the game from the opposition with his all-round skills. Besides, the spin pitch in Lucknow will push the management to opt him for the game. Meanwhile, Rovmen Powell might make a way.

7. Carlos Brathwaite:

Yet another dangerous player in this format of the game. He will be leading the side and got the skills to deliver the goods in all sections of the game. He also got decent experience in playing on Indian soil. He will be the cynosure of the eyes for his captaincy skills as well.

8. Fabien Allen:

The youngster has been decent in the first game at the Eden Gardens. He proved he has the mettle in him to deliver against the top-class sides as well. Allen has been exceptional with his hitting in the CPL and the team management would like to see him repeating the same. It is expected he would get the promotion in batting tonight.

9. Khary Pierre:

The young spinner will have to do a lot tonight in Lucknow. The pitch will surely offer an excellent purchase for the spinner, and the team management would hope the youngster to deliver. He was decent enough in the first T20I as well.

10. Oshane Thomas:

The youngster has been the find for the Windies in their tour to India. The lanky and well-built fast bowler is making an impact on the game with his stunning display at top of the batting order. Once again, he will be the cynosure of the eyes when the Windies team takes on India in 2nd T20I.

11. Obed McCoy:

The youngster has been pretty good in changing the pace and got bulk of variations in his kitty as well. He delivered the goods in the CPL, and the team would ask him to do that tonight. Though he was gone for runs in the ODI format, one can see him troubling Indians in the T20Is, especially, in death overs. Keemo Paul might make a way.

I just love what I script. Over the years, Cricket has been my passion and crisping articles on it gives me an immense pleasure...Cheers...!!!
