Yet another session had gone to went to India’s way. However, this time, Windies batsmen showed a bit of resistance in the middle, but the bowlers took the boost when it mattered the most. It was Kuldeep Yadav again who was the wrecker-in-chief for India team in the post-lunch session on Day one of Hyderabad Test in India vs Windies 2018 series.

Kuldeep Yadav Strikes for India while Roston Chase stands tall:

Just at the start of the post-lunch session, Kuldeep Yadav sent back Shimron Hetmyer and Sunil Ambris for the low scores. Shimron failed for the wrong one from the chinaman while Ambris was unable to keep his stroke down the ground.

However, Roston Chase once again came to the aid for the Windies side. He batted brilliantly by showing positive intent at the crease. He used his feet to the perfection by knocking the boundaries more often than not.

He was accompanied by Dowrich, who looked pretty comfortable in dealing with the Indian spinners. They both paired up nicely to ensure no further hiccups after the quick wickets. They added a 69-run partnership for the 6th wicket.

Just when things looked in control for the Windies, Virat Kohli handed the ball to Umesh Yadav, who gave the instant return to his skipper. He caught Dowrich plumb in front of the wicket to break the partnership.

The wicket once again made India to keep their noses ahead in the game. At the end of the post-lunch session, Roston Chase is batting with 50* to his name while Jason Holder is batting on 10*.
