Former India skipper Sachin Tendulkar has showered heaps of praise on incumbent India opener Rohit Sharma following his swashbuckling hundred against Windies in the fourth ODI at the Brabourne Stadium.
Meanwhile, Rohit notched his 21st one-day international hundred as India posted 377 runs at the halfway stage. Ambati Rayudu also chipped in with a well made century to play the second fiddle to Rohit Sharma. India came into this game on the back of a humiliating defeat after a batting collapse in Pune.
However, Virat Kohli’s decision to bat first paid dividends as Rohit Sharma tore off the Windies attack. He brought his second hundred of the series after a well-made unbeaten 152 in the opening fixture.
Rohit Sharma looked in sublime touch as he dominated the proceedings right from the word go. He pierced the gaps with ease as the spectators applauded in awe. Furthermore, this is the ninth consecutive ODI series where he has scored one or more hundreds for India. Furthermore, he is also the first Indian to score a T20 century in this ground and now became the first cricketer to score an ODI hundred.

The legendary batsman shared heaps of praise for the Mumbai based saying that the ease with which Rohit bats, is a delightful sight. Meanwhile, Rohit has always regarded Sachin Tendulkar as his idol as these words coming from the master itself is a huge accomplishment.
“The ease with which you score your hundreds is a delight to watch, @imro45.
