MS Dhoni has had a major impact on all bowlers who are coming through the ranks. The current best fast bowlers Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar are also the products of MS Dhoni, who helped them get through the bad phase of their life. He also guided Chahal-Kuldeep duo to rise through the ranks.

I still look to MS Dhoni for help – Yuzvendra Chahal

The canny spinner quoted that MS Dhoni has always guided him whenever the things are out of the control. He added that not only him but also the other bowlers will look at MS Dhoni during the tough situations.

“I still look to Dhoni Bhai whenever I am in trouble or need any advice during a match. Dhoni Bhai has amazing observation skills. He can tell from behind the stumps that a bowler has a doubt or has questions by our body language alone,” Yuzvendra Chahal said while talking to Times of India.

”Whenever I am in doubt, he comes and solves the problem,” Chahal said. “Not just me, other bowlers too take help from him. We all are lucky to have him in the team,” Chahal said.

In the past, I got wickets because of MS Dhoni – Yuzvendra Chahal

Further, he added whenever he is in doubt, MS Dhoni himself turns up to him and solves the puzzle. Chahal went on to say he got wickets in the past because of MS Dhoni’s suggestions.

”During the match, Rohit Sharma (stand-in captain) was having a discussion with Dhoni Bhai. Rohit Bhai came and asked me to bowl in the Powerplay. I looked at Dhoni Bhai, he rushed towards me and asked me to bowl ‘stump to stump’. I did just that and trapped Imam Ul Haq lbw,” Chahal said.

“This is not the first time he (MS Dhoni) has guided me. There have been many occasions in the past when I got wickets because of him,” the leg-spinner inferred.

However, it has been a blessing for the Indian bowlers to have MS Dhoni in the ranks. He not only guides the bowlers but also serves as the mentor to the team as well.
