Former Pakistan spinner Saqlain Mushtaq said Prithvi Shaw plays using the mind of Rahul Dravid. Under-19 and India A coach Rahul Dravid is doing a fine job in nurturing the young lads of the Indian team. Prithvi Shaw had led Under-19 team to glory in the World Cup earlier in the year. Thus, Shaw has taken his lessons under the tutelage of Rahul Dravid.

Meanwhile, Prithvi Shaw also played under the guidance of Rahul Dravid for India A side. Thus, the Wall has been able to help the Indian players in getting the much-needed confidence. Shaw showed great promise in his maiden series as he scored 237 runs to bag the Man of the series award.

On the other hand, Shaw had scored a fine 134 in his maiden Test innings. Thus, Dravid was able to rub off the right habits in the young lad.

Saqlain Mushtaq said while talking on Saqlain Mushtaq show, “It looks like a 30-year old is playing when Prithvi Shaw is playing, such is his maturity. It didn’t seem like it was his first match when he scored his maiden Test century. Credit goes to Indian Cricket, BCCI and I will give a lot of credit to Rahul Dravid, who is looking after India’s batting. It was looking like he was playing with Rahul Dravid’s mind. Prithvi Shaw was batting but it was Rahul Dravid’s mind in the middle”.
