Finally, it seems like the Indians have found a solution to the problem in the middle-order slot. The right-handed, Ambati Rayudu is utilising his chance to the perfection by knocking it superbly in the middle. Meanwhile, he finally came up with that century, which is teasing him for a long time now.

Initially, it was Windies, who have been on the top position by knocking down Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli early in the innings. However, they failed to escape from the show-man Rohit Sharma, who scored yet another daddy hundred.

Rohit Sharma has been equally supported by Ambati Rayudu, who knocked the fence more often than not during his knock. Initially, he started the innings by rotating the strike to Rohit Sharma, then opened up himself to knock 3rd ODI century.

Coming to the match progress, in the bright afternoon, Virat Kohli won the toss and asked the visitors to bowl first. The opening duo of Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma got a flashy start by knocking 71 for the first wicket.

Meanwhile, Keemo Paul delivered the goods by sending Dhawan back to the hut. Virat Kohli quickly followed him, who failed to defend Kemar Roach successfully.

However, it was a day that belonged to Rohit Sharma. The flamboyant batsman had batted beautifully to put the Windies’ bowlers chasing the leather more often than not. During the course, he also brought his 21st ODI century as well.

At one stage, it was expected that Rohit Sharma was nearing his fourth double century. However, a tricky line by Ashley Nurse outfoxed Rohit Sharma thus denying the incredible feat.

Meanwhile, what made things interesting was the knock that came off Ambati Rayudu’s willow. He hit his third hundred and helped the hosts post a massive 378.
