Virat will better everyone
However, Virat Kohli had played some terrific innings scoring unbeaten 157 runs in the second game in Vizag. He also became the fastest batsman to achieve the feat of reaching 10,000 ODI runs, surpassing a few of the legends of the game.
“I think he has decided on achieving certain goals and he is trying his best to achieve them,” Borde told mid-day yesterday.

Moreover, after a thrilling second ODI, Virat Kohli and Co. are playing the third ODI in Borde’s hometown, Pune. However, in the two games played so far, Kohli has slammed two consecutive centuries and would be rearing to go for the third one against the Windies.
“The way he is scoring runs and notching up centuries consistently, I hope that one day he will have all records to his name,” Borde added.
Furthermore, Virat Kohli has had an incredible run in the ODI’s in 2018. After hitting three hundred in South Africa, Kohli was back among runs in England and Windies series. Though he completed two fifties in three-match ODIs in England, the India captain has hit twin tons in two games against the Windies.
“If he is able to maintain the same fitness levels, he will continue having the same reflexes and performances. It will all depend on his fitness standards. But he is a fitness freak which is very good. The way he converts singles into twos and twos into threes is just commendable. What I find rare is that he looks a well-set batsman from the very first ball,” remarked Borde.
“He is a very confident cricketer, just like Sachin. If I have look back further, I’d say Hazare and Gavaskar enjoyed the same kind of supreme confidence,” Chandu Borde concluded.
