Windies off-spinner Ashley Nurse celebrated in a peculiar way after dismissing India’s batsman Ambati Rayudu. The right-hander scored a good knock of 73 runs and was involved in a partnership of 139 runs with Indian skipper Virat Kohli. However, Rayudu innings was ended when he tried to go over mid-wicket with a wild slog. The Hyderabad batsman could not find the contact and was clean bowled by Nurse.

Meanwhile, Ashley Nurse was able to scalp two wickets and gave away only 46 runs in his quota of ten overs. The Windies off-spinner celebrated the dismissal of Ambati Rayudu by doing a Thullu step, made popular by Indian comedian Kapil Sharma.

On the other hand, India was able to post an above par score of 321 runs after Virat Kohli won the toss and decided to bat first. Kohli scored his 37th ODI Hundred and also crossed the barrier of 10,000 ODI runs. The Indian captain became the fastest to 10,000 runs getting there in just 205 innings. Thus, Kohli became the fourth Indian and 13th overall batsman to reach the landmark.

Kohli also completed his 1000 runs in 2018 in ODI cricket as he joined England’s opener, Jonny Bairstow. In fact, Kohli also became the leading Indian batsmen to score most runs against Windies as he surpassed Sachin Tendulkar.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli scored an unbeaten knock of 157 off just 129 balls. The right-hander scored 13 fours and four sixes in his fine knock. In fact, Kohli had also scored 140 off just 107 balls in the first ODI at Guwahati.

Thus, Kohli continued his love affair of scoring runs with great ease and once again looked at the top of his game. Kohli was able to bring another masterclass to the table.
