India vs Windies 2018: Watch Oshane Thomas Hits Shai Hope on the Face While Celebrating Wicket

The Windies fast bowler Oshane Thomas hit wicketkeeper Shai Hope on the face while celebrating the wicket of Shikhar Dhawan. Thomas could not get the timing of his high five correct and smash his right-hand fingers on Hope’s face. Oshan Thomas is a strong and lanky lad and had the connection been harder, Hope could have been in trouble.

Meanwhile, the well built fast bowler is just 21 years old. In fact, Oshane Thomas had impressed in the Carribean Premier League. The pacer had scalped 18 wickets in the tournament which helped him in making his place in the side. Furthermore, he was able to generate a high speed of above 140 km/h consistently.

However, he was on the expensive side as he leaked 83 runs in his nine overs. In fact, it was not easy for him to bowl to two world’s best batsmen, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli. Oshane Thomas has the pace under his belt. However, he also needs to find control in his bowling.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma were able to bring their masterclass to the table. Both the talisman batsmen went on to post a gargantuan partnership of 246 runs which was their fifth partnership of 200 or more runs. Thus, it was a run-fest in Guwahati.

Virat Kohli scored his 36th ODI hundred whereas Rohit Sharma brought his 20th ODI century. Both the batsman batted with ease as Windies bowlers were not able to bring any challenge to the table.

Meanwhile, Windies were able to post a competitive total of 322 runs. Shimron Hetmyer was able to score his third century as he also batted in the topmost gear. Therefore, the batsmen had a merry day whereas the bowlers had a tough day at the office.
