Virat Kohli made a weird expression after Ravindra Jadeja picked up the wicket of Rovman Powell during Windies’ innings against India in Guwahati. Earlier in the day, Indian skipper Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bowl first. Windies opening pair Kieron Powell and Chandrapaul Hemraj couldn’t put up a good show, as their partnership broke with just 19 in the board.

However, Yuzvendra Chahal was the pick of the bowlers who picked up three wickets in the game. Meanwhile, Shai Hope and Kieron Powell played some excellent cricket in the middle to add 65 runs for the second wicket. Powell scored some superb cricket and had scored 51 runs from 39 balls smashing six boundaries and two sixes.

Moreover, the Windies middle-order batsman, Shimron Hetmyer showed his class and had scored his third international century (106 off 78 balls) against India in this match. His knock included six massive sixes and as many boundaries.

However, it was an ugly hoick and Jadeja broke the effective partnership. It is what Ravindra Jadeja did; he kept it full and straight at the stumps. Powell was looking to club it over mid-wicket and played all around the ball and found his stumps in a mess. It was a waste of a wicket, really, with these two were going so well, and all of a sudden a rush of blood consumes Powell.
