The Windies coach Stuart Law believes his team has forced India to bring back Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah in their squad. The visitors were able to score more than 300 in both the ODIs. In fact, Windies were looking good to win the second ODI at one stage. However, it ended in a tie. Meanwhile, BCCI decided to get back the services of their premier fast bowlers, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, and Jasprit Bumrah.

On the other hand, Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav have been on the expensive side. Both of them are playing in ODI format after a long time and it has been palpable in their bowling figures. Thus, Shami was dropped for the remaining three ODIs. However, Umesh Yadav was able to retain his place in the side.

“Yeah, I would like to think so (on their comeback). That’s probably the reason why they’ve (India) called back their two most experienced one-day bowlers. To our credit, we haven’t shied away from it,” Law said on the eve of the third ODI.

Thus, Stuart Law is happy the visitors are asking some questions from the hosts. Law said his team is coming with good answers which are put up by the Indian team.

“So yeah, hopefully, we are getting the Indians to ask questions to themselves. They are giving us plenty of questions to ask ourselves but at this stage, we are coming up with pretty good answers,” added Law.

On the other hand, Indian skipper Virat Kohli is coming up with consistent performances. Stuart Law went on to add they have some plans under their sleeve to get the better of Virat Kohli.

“How do you get Virat out? He gave us chance at 40. He is a wonderful player. I just love the way he goes about compiling an inning. Looks like he is working very hard but he’s doing it very easy. So we do have plans to him.

“At the moment, he is coming up a lot of good answers, so we have to just keep asking questions about his technique and his abilities. In the end, he is only human. But when we get an opportunity, we have got to grab hold of it.”

Meanwhile, one of the biggest positive for the visitors has been Shimron Hetmyer. The southpaw has scored his runs at a brisk pace. Furthermore, Shai Hope was able to come up good in the previous match.

“Hetmyer has been outstanding. (Shai) Hope got a hundred in the second game, all in all for an inexperienced side, that we have, they can hold their heads very high,” said Stuart Law.

The second ODI between India and Windies will take place at Pune on October 27.
