India vs Windies 2018: Yuvraj Singh Congratulates 'Phenomenal' Virat Kohli On Reaching 10000 ODI Runs

Veteran India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh congratulated Virat Kohli following his entry to 10000 ODI runs club during the second ODI against Windies at Visakhapatnam.
Meanwhile, Kohli entered the elite class when he reached 81 in his innings and becoming the fastest to scale 10,000 ODI runs in terms of innings. Kohli took 205 innings to reach the feat as compared to Tendulkar’s 259. Former India captain Sourav Ganguly finds himself in the third spot, he took 263 innings to bring up the milestone.
Kohli became only the 4th Indian and 13th batsman overall to achieve this feat. The Indian captain also holds the record for the fastest to 8000 and 9000 ODI runs. In addition to, Virat Kohli also became the fastest batsman to notch 10000 runs by time. Kohli (10 years and 66 days) overtook Rahul Dravid (10 years 317 days) and Sachin Tendulkar (11 years and 103 days).

The dashing all-rounder shared high praise for talismanic runscorer as he achieved the milestone. Kohli reached 10000 ODI runs in just 205 innings during the second ODI after reaching 81 runs.
Yuvraj also termed Kohli’s consistency as unbelievable stuff as he has made a habit of scoring centuries in every game.
