Harleen Deol is being seen as the next big thing in Indian women’s cricket. While she is yet to become a household name in this cricket-obsessed nation, there is little denying the fact that she is highly-rated in the cricket fraternity. Harleen Deol is an attacking right-hand batter and is also a handy spinner.

She made her India debut last year before impressing in the Women’s T20 Challenge where she was a standout performer for Trailblazers. Harleen Deol scored back-to-back 30-plus knocks in the tournament and had shared a memorable 119-run stand with Smriti Mandhana.

She was also a part of India’s squad for this year’s T20 World Cup in Australia where the team made it to the final before losing to the hosts. But unfortunately, she did not get a chance to play in any game. Harleen Deol would be desperate to become a regular member of the team whenever the action resumes.

But for the time being, she is spending her days at her home just like anyone else because of the coronavirus pandemic. And on Tuesday, she decided to spend her day by interacting with her followers on Instagram. The women team’s star held a question-answer session and her followers duly obliged by asking her a number of questions.

One of the followers asked her to name her inspiration. In reply, Harleen Deol named legendary MS Dhoni as her inspiration and also called him her all time favourite.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni has not played any competitive game since the end of the World Cup in July last year. As soon as the tournament ended, he sprung a big surprise by taking a sabbatical from the game which is yet to end.

His sabbatical would have ended last month in the Indian Premier League (IPL). He had also started training for the league in Chennai before the BCCI suspended the league till April 15 in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak.
