Indian Pacer Parvinder Awana Call it Quits from International Cricketer

Indian cricketer Parvinder Awana has decided to call it quits on his cricketing career. The fast bowler took to his Twitter account to share the news.

Awana represented Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League in the past. The fast bowler has decided to hang his boots from all formats of first class and International cricket.

In fact, Awana played two T20 Internationals for the Indian team. He made his debut against England in 2012. However, the right-handed pacer went wicketless in the two matches he played for the national side. In fact, Awana made his first-class debut at the age of 21 years.

Meanwhile, India is currently locking horns with England in a three-match ODI series. The series is tied at 1-1 and the decider is being played at Headingley, Leeds. India had won the first match by eight wickets.

However, England was able to bounce back in the second match as they won by 86 runs. Joe Root was able to get back into form as he scored a fine hundred to take England’s total to 322 runs.

Furthermore, Awana also played in 33 Indian Premier League matches. The Delhi fast bowler scalped 39 wickets in his IPL journey.

Meanwhile, Awana gave his gratitude to all the people who played a part in his cricketing journey. Awana played his last IPL match against Kolkata Knight Riders in 2014.
