Digging into skipper’s reply, it read ”“I don’t think you should live in India, go and live somewhere else. Why are you living in our country and loving other countries? I don’t mind you not liking me, but I don’t think you should live in our country and like other things. Get your priorities right.”

Meanwhile, the Inspector General of Police Basant Rath isn’t impressed with the retort from the Indian skipper. He asked Kohli to restrict his cricket patriotism to himself and don’t ask others to leave India.

Further, Rath also cited he is a fan of Javed Miandad but that doesn’t mean he should leave India. Meanwhile, he also made a satire on Virat Kohli’s advertisement contracts as well.

“Dear Virat Kohli, I love Javed Miandad. You please keep your cricket patriotism to yourself. And to your advertisement contracts,” Rath wrote on his Twitter handle.

Recently, we also came across Harshe Bhogle sharing his thought on the statement. However, he didn’t speak on the point instead warned the other players to stay away from replying to such comments from the fans.

However, it seems like the buzz regarding the controversy is likely to stretch. Meanwhile, it would be interesting to see how Virat Kohli will cope up with the ruckus over it.
