Sunrisers Hyderabad all-rounder Yusuf Pathan holds an interesting record under his belt in IPL folklore. Pathan has a 100% success rate in the final of the tournament. Consequently, Baroda all-rounder has savoured success in the three IPL finals he has played.

Chennai Super Kings will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final of the IPL 2018. Chennai has won two IPL titles whereas Sunrisers Hyderabad has a won a solitary IPL crown. Meanwhile, this is the seventh time Chennai Super Kings have made the cut into the final of the tournament.

Chennai had won the IPL title in the 2010 and 2011 season. Meanwhile, Sunrisers savoured success in the 2016 edition under the leadership of their former skipper David Warner.

Meanwhile, Yusuf Pathan has a fantastic track record in the final of the IPL tourney. Pathan has featured in three IPL final and he has gone on to win in all these matches. Thus, Pathan holds a 100% success rate in the final.

The all-rounder had played for the Rajasthan Royals in the inaugural edition which was won by the franchise. Furthermore, Yusuf Pathan had played for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2012 and 2014 season in which KKR went on to win.

Not only Yusuf Pathan has an impressive track record in the IPL final but also his performance in final is consistent. The right-hander batsman had played a match-winning knock of 56 runs off just 39 balls in the final of the 2008 edition. Moreover, Pathan had also chipped in with the ball. The off-spinner scalped three wickets and conceded only 22 runs in his quota of four overs.

Pathan also contributed to the success of the Kolkata Knight Riders in the 2014 season finale. The combative batsman had scored a quickfire 36 off just 22 balls to help KKR in chasing the mammoth total of 200.

Thus, Pathan track record in the final of the tournament will be a cause of concern for the MS Dhoni-led team.
