Performance analyst of the Chennai Super Kings, Lakshmi Narayan has said the consistency of CSK is what made them a force to reckon with in the Indian Premier League.
“Consistency is what made Chennai Super Kings a force to reckon with in the Indian Premier League,” said Lakshmi Narayanan. “MS Dhoni’s inspiring leadership, his unique man-management skills that brought the best out of the team with absolutely no pressure on any of the individuals,” he further added.
Lakshmi has been with the Chennai Super Kings outfit since the inaugural season in 2008.
The two-time IPL Champions have been one of the most consistent sides in the tournament. They qualified for the playoffs in all eight seasons from 2008 to 2015.
“The Lions have set a high benchmark in the IPL, and I’m confident we will rekindle the magic,” he added.
“We are blessed with supportive management who understand the game. The coaches, support staff and our fans have been wonderful and have been a source of strength to the team,” Lakshmi further added.
Lakshmi had earlier worked with India A and India U-19 teams. This also includes the U-19 World Cup in 2008 when India won the tournament under the captaincy of Virat Kohli.
“The beauty of the Lions is that they are in it together as a team, be it success or defeats. Not just the team, also our fans. We have got the best fans, and they have been with us throughout our journey,” he further added.
“Lakshmi shares a very good working relationship with the coaching staff and senior members of the team that has been built over the years,” said KS Viswanathan, CEO, Chennai Super Kings. “He is experienced and a winning analyst,” he further added.
