It is just next to impossible – to get away on social media nowadays after doing something which grabs the eyeballs. No matter whether an individual posts something encouraging, criticising or a simple tweet, if it catches the eyes of the users, he can well end up being trolled. Well, former England skipper Michael Vaughan would certainly agree to it to some extent.

The former English batsman Vaughan is known for speaking his mind out on Twitter.  Not surprisingly, he faces severe criticism or trolling on almost every second day.

However, on Sunday he posted a simple ‘Good morning’ to his followers. Little did he know that someone would still take a dig at him.

It all began when Vaughan tweeted:

“Morning India……”

The tweet would have surely gone unnoticed. However, the Twitter handle of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) had some other plans.

Showing its witty side, the franchise tweeted:“Good morning! But why are you wishing Jonty Rhode’s daughter?”

But while the franchise must have thought it had pulled off a good reply, it was in for some tough time as its tweet had left many impressed.

And the Twitterati did not waste much time in trolling the franchise over its sense of humour.

Here are some of the hilarious reactions as well following a tweet from Michael Vaughan:
