Former Australia cricketer, Dean Jones is in awe of the love, people of Afghanistan are showering towards their countryman Rashid Khan, who has been spectacular in this edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
Meanwhile, the leg-spinner single-handedly took his team to the finals against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Rashid Khan scored 34 crucial runs off ten balls and returned to pick three pivotal wickets to change the course of the game. Moreover, it has been a path-breaking season for the 19-year-old.
He’s been Kane Williamson‘s go-to man in the entire season. Rashid also has responded well and had led the bowling unit from the front.
Of the many adversities, their country is facing at this juncture, Rashid has been one of their biggest reasons to smile.
