IPL 2018: Delhi Daredevils hike charges for matches featuring Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni

In an interesting turn of events, Delhi Daredevils invoked premium on matches featuring Virat Kohli and MS Dhoni, looking at their popularity. The Daredevils released their ticket pricing deck for IPL 2018.
It is a common strategy for any franchise to hike charges over weekend matches. The amount charged for matches featuring Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bangalore comes out to be INR 17,500 for Super Hospitality Box. The matches are scheduled to be held on the weekends.
On the contrary, the season opener for Daredevils against Kings XI Punjab is priced for INR 15,000 for the luxury box. Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royal and Sunrisers Hyderabad who play over weekdays have the highest denomination for INR 15,000.

The games against defending champions Mumbai Indias on Sunday, May 20, and Kolkata Knight Riders on April 27 are sold for INR 16,000.
Tickets for Delhi Daredevils’ home games at the Ferozshah Kotla is ranged for a minimum amount of INR 750 for the East Top Level to INR 17,500 for Super Hospitality (Marquee) block.

The Hospitality Enclosure tickets are available in five categories. These are classified as Super Hospitality (Marquee), Corporate Box, Platinum Gallery, Old Club House (first floor) and Northern Premium.

The Daredevils host Kings XI Punjab for their first match on Sunday, April 8 – a day after the IPL Season XI kick starts in Mumbai between the hosts and Chennai Super Kings.
For the Delhi-based franchise, successful captain for the KKR, Gautam Gambhir will lead the side, powered by the presence of Glenn Maxwell, Colin Munro, Kagiso Rabada, Jason Roy and many others.
It would be interesting to see how the Ponting-Gambhir duo works in tandem in their bid to attain their first IPL title.
