The relation between Dwayne Bravo and Bollywood goes a long way back. The Windies star is one of the most loved overseas players in the cricket-obsessed nation.

His tryst with the Bollywood began when he released his single Champion, which became a huge sensation in the country during the ICC World T20.

In fact, the Windies team even used the track in their on-field celebrations. Bravo later performed the beats at the opening ceremony of this year’s IPL, sharing the stage with Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif and Jacqueline Fernandes.

Not only that, the all-rounder had also danced on a song in the Tamil thriller Ula.

So it is not surprising at all that Bravo knows a thing or two about Bollywood. In a recent candid interview with his Chennai Super Kings teammates Harbhajan Singh, the 36-year old revealed his favourite Bollywood actor and actress.

The show began with both Bravo and Harbhajan singing their songs to set the tone for the remainder of the show titled ‘Bhajji Blast’.

After a while, the conversation drifted towards Bollywood. Harbhajan soon asked Bravo about his favourite actor and actress. In reply, Bravo said:

“SRK (Shah Rukh Khan) is my favourite, number one. He is also my boss because he is the owner of my team (Trinbago Knight Riders) that I play for in the CPL.”

The veteran spinner then asked about Bravo’s favourite actress.

In reply, the star player said:

“I always get this question, every time I come to India.  It is Deepika (Deepika Padukone).  No secret about it.”

When Harbhajan asked Bravo to send out a message for his favourite actress, a shy Bravo said:

“No messages. I would love the opportunity to meet her.  And may be have a chat like this with her. That would be a dream come true for me.”

Meanwhile, Bravo and Harbhajan are currently plying their trade in the Indian Premier League. The Super Kings have already qualified for the playoffs and would be looking to seal the top two spot.
