Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are just one step away from booking a place in the playoffs. They have played some exciting cricket in the tournament so far and is currently at the 3rd position with 14 points from 13 games.

They need to win their final match against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on Saturday to directly qualify for the playoffs. If they lose, KKR will then have to depend on other results to progress.

It was a great spell of bowling Kuldeep Yadav which eventually restricted Rajasthan to just 142 in just 19 overs. Jos Buttler and Rahul Tripathi shared a 63-run partnership for the opening wicket before Kuldeep ripped through the middle order. His wickets included those of Jos Buttler, Ajinkya Rahane, Stuart Binny and Ben Stokes.

The KKR batsmen chased down the total with utmost comfort courtesy a composed knock from Chris Lynn and skipper Dinesh Karthik. It was their 7th victory of the competition to help them get to 14 points. Meanwhile, ahead of their last group clash against Hyderabad, the KKR team members were seen delivering dialogues of the owner of the franchise, Shah Rukh Khan.

It started off with a dialogue given by opener Chris Lynn. There was a dialogue from SRK from the film Raees which said “Battery Nahi bolneka (Don’t call me a battery).

Lynn tried to repeat the dialogue. However, he was far from convincing, as he apparently said “Battery Nahi boniga”. It was really a moment to rejoice for KKR and Lynn.

The next one to try out an SRK dialogue was spin wizard Sunil Narine who has also been a prolific-run scorer at the top of the order. He was tasked with the famous dialogue of “Chennai Express” which says, “Don’t underestimate the power of a common man.” Narine though faltered in his first two attempts but eventually delivered the dialogue correctly in his 3rd attempt.

The next one in the radar was Piyush Chawla. The dialogue was from Dilwale which says “Hum Shareef kya hue pure duniya hi badmash ho gaye.”

He delivered a dialogue at a one go, and even the anchor was quite impressed with his attempt. It was KKR skipper, Dinesh Karthik who tried out the dialogue from Raees which says “Koi Dhanda Chota Nahi Hota aur dhande se bar kar koi kaam nahi hota.” Karthik managed to deliver the dialogue in his 2nd attempt.

Shubhman Gill and Shivam Mavi try out pose from Main Hoo Na

Meanwhile, the two youngsters Shubman Gill and Shivam Mavi also tried out a pose from “Main Hoon Na”.

Meanwhile, Robin Uthappa and Kuldeep Yadav were also on the radar. However, both were pretty pathetic in their acting skills. Hence Shah Rukh Khan, the man himself took to his twitter handle and jokingly asked the cricketers to play cricket and stop acting.

“As much as I love my team, here’s the deal. I leave the cricket to u & u leave the acting to me!! Haha.”

Kolkata needs to win their final match against table toppers Sunrisers Hyderabad to go through to the top four.
