Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni presented a special gift to the Pune groundsmen for doing an amazing job, post their last match win against the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP).

Coming back to the league after a prolonged gap of two years, Chennai immediately had to part their ways from Chepauk Stadium and shift their base to the Maharastra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium in Pune, in the wake of Cauvery Water Dispute.

While many felt that it will be an uphill task for CSK, the groundsmen did splendid work. Moreover, CSK won five out of their six home games, the lastest of them all was thrashing KXIP by five wickets.

Chennai, however, finished the group stage on the second spot with 18 points. They will square off against table-topper Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on May 22 (Tuesday) in the Qualifier 1st at the iconic Wankhede Stadium.
