In the 19th match of the IPL, Delhi Daredevils will lock horns against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Gautam Gambhir-led side find themselves at the bottom of the points table. Delhi had managed a solitary win in the ongoing season and thus would like the much-needed win.

Delhi has been led down by their batting, as well as their bowling line-up. Their bowling brigade conceded 200 runs in the last match. Furthermore, their batting unit also threw in the towel, as they were bundled out for paltry 129.

Delhi will like to rise from the Ashes, as they have displayed dismal performance thus far. Gautam Gambhir has all the experience, and the Delhi team can make the most of it.

Here is a look at the Predicted Playing XI of the Delhi Daredevils:

1. Jason Roy

Jason Roy had played a majestic knock against reigning champions Mumbai Indians earlier. However, the England batsman was not able to repeat his performance against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Delhi will hope that Roy gives them a good platform at the top of the order.

2. Gautam Gambhir

Delhi Daredevils skipper, Gautam Gambhir started IPL campaign on a high. Nevertheless, southpaw opener was not able to keep on the good show.

Delhi captain will look to make the most of his experience in providing a solid start to his team.

3. Shreyas Iyer

Shreyas Iyer hasn’t been able to hit the ground running thus far in the ongoing season. The right-hander had looked out of sorts, as he had failed to get his timing going.

However, Delhi Daredevils will hope that Iyer finds his lost touch.

4. Rishabh Pant

Rishabh Pant has continued to play aggressively. The southpaw had got off to good starts in a couple of innings but hadn’t played that match-winning knock. Hence, Pant will look to make the most of his starts.

5. Glenn Maxwell

Glenn Maxwell has not found his touch yet in the IPL. The Australian all-rounder looked threatening in the last match, as he scored a quickfire 47 off just 22 balls.

6. Rahul Tewatia

Rahul Tewatia has impressed thus far in the 11th season of the IPL. The leg-spinner has bagged six wickets in the four matches. Thus, Tewatia has been the best Delhi bowler so far.

7. Vijay Shankar

Vijay Shankar hasn’t been utilised to great effect. The all-rounder can be promoted up the order to play as a floater.

Furthermore, Shankar can also be given the opportunity to bowl more frequently.

8. Chris Morris

Chris Morris hasn’t been able to deliver the goods with the bat, as well as with the ball. Hence, the South African all-rounder will look to find his form.

9. Mohammed Shami

Mohammed Shami had turned out to be expensive for Delhi Daredevils. Shami had conceded 53 runs in his quota of four overs in the last match against Kolkata Knight Riders. Consequently, Shami will like to turn the tables against RCB.

10. Amit Mishra

Amit Mishra was dropped after the first match after he turned out to expensive against KXIP. The leg-spinner has a plethora of experience and should replace Shahbaz Nadeem.

Trent Boult has come up roses for the Delhi side. The Kiwi fast bowler can have provided early jolts to the Men in Blue. Boult had scalped two wickets in the last match against KKR.
