IPL 2018: 51st Match: RCB vs SRH: Royal Challengers Bangalore Predicted XI

Royal Challengers Bangalore will host table-leaders, Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 51st of the IPL 2018.

After winning their last two matches, Royal Challengers Bangalore has given themselves a fresh hope of qualifying for the playoffs.

However, they would need other results to go in their favour. If KXIP and KKR win their remaining matches, it would be the end of the road for the Virat Kohli-led team.

On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad had already qualified for the playoffs. Moreover, they have also assured a top-two finish with nine wins under their belt.

However, the Kane Williamson-led team will like to continue their good form going in the season.

Manan Vohra should come in place of Sarfaraz Khan. Vohra had provided a good start to RCB in the match against Mumbai Indians. Thus, Vohra can be given another opportunity.

Parthiv Patel has had a good couple of matches for RCB since he had come into the side. The wicketkeeper-batsman will like to provide a good platform to the Bangalore side.

Virat Kohli (c)

Virat Kohli has done a fine job for the RCB. Men in Red skipper opened the innings in the last match. However, he is best suited for the number three position.

AB de Villiers has continued to amaze us with his breathtaking knocks. The South African Talismanic batsman has scored a blistering 72 to take his team over the line against Delhi Daredevils. Thus, he is in good form.

Mandeep Singh

Mandeep Singh form has taken a dip in the last few matches. However, the right-hander will like to strike back into his good form.

Moeen Ali

Moeen Ali has done a good job with the ball. The England all-rounder will also like to deliver the goods with the bat. Ali had taken a wicket in the last match also.

Colin de Grandhomme has had a see-saw season in the limited opportunities he has received. The Kiwi all-rounder had scalped one wicket in the previous match against KXIP.

Tim Southee has added the experience in the bowling line-up of RCB. Southee will like to keep his good form going. The Kiwi can generate swing as well as pace from the surface.

RCB will aim to deliver another strong performance.

Umesh Yadav had a fine last match against KXIP. The fast bowler scalped three wickets and conceded only 23 runs in his four overs.
