England all-rounder Moeen Ali gave his gratitude to the Royal Challengers Bangalore for their support. IPL 2018 was debut season in the tournament for the English all-rounder. Moeen also went on to thank the Indian fans.

Ali added IPL is a great tournament and it is amazing to play with and against the best players.

However, the southpaw batsman is also disappointed by the fact RCB could not qualify for the playoffs stages.

Ali played his best knock against SRH.

Meanwhile, Moeen Ali played only five matches in this season of the IPL. However, his best performance came against table leaders Sunrisers Hyderabad when he scored a fine 65 off just 34 balls. Furthermore, Ali also chipped in with the ball.

However, it was a disappointing season for the Royal Challengers Bangalore, as they won six matches out of the 14 they played.

Bangalore finished at the sixth place on the points table, as they once again failed to seal their place in the final four of the tournament.

Men in Red were once again reliant on the shoulders of their skipper Virat Kohli and their talismanic batsman AB de Villiers. Moreover, their bowling turned out to be their Achilles Heel throughout the season.

Furthermore, Moeen Ali was not given the opportunity in the first half of the season.

Ali got drafted in the playing XI in the later phase of the season. Consequently, the all-rounder was able to do a decent job for the Virat Kohli-led team.
