IPL 2018: Qualifier 2: Kolkata Knight Riders vs Sunrisers Hyderabad – Sunrisers Hyderabad Predicted XI
Sunrisers Hyderabad will travel to Kolkata Knight Riders home den for the second qualifier of the IPL 2018. The Orange Army has lost their last four matches on the trot to veer off the track after getting to a good start. Kane Williamson led team will have to be at the top of their game to come up roses in KKR’s home conditions.
On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders have momentum on their side. Men in Purple have won last four consecutive matches which also includes a win against Sunrisers Hyderabad. Moreover, they will also have home advantage on their side.
However, when these two teams had met in the league stages, it was an even battle as both of them had won one match each.
Here is a look at the Predicted Playing XI of the Sunrisers Hyderabad:
Shikhar Dhawan
Shikhar Dhawan went back to the pavilion without troubling the scorers in the last match against Chennai Super Kings. Thus, the southpaw will like to make a statement in the make or break match.
Shreevats Goswami
Shreevats Goswami has kept really well. However, the Orange Army will want more from the southpaw batsman. The gloveman should play with more freedom at the top of the order.
Kane Williamson
Kane Williamson is in dream form with the bat. SRH skipper is leading run-getter with 685 runs in the 15 matches. The right-hander will like to come up good in the do or die situation.
Manish Pandey
Manish Pandey form is a cause of concern for the team management of SRH. However, the right-hander will like to stand up tall in the crucial match.
Deepak Hooda can come in place of Yusuf Pathan. Hooda has impressed in the limited opportunities he has received in the tournament.
Hyderabad will like to come up roses.
Shakib Al Hasan
Shakib Al Hasan form has dipped in the last few matches. However, Bangladesh all-rounder would like to make a stronger comeback.
Carlos Brathwaite
Carlos Brathwaite had scored a quickfire 43 off just 29 balls when SRH had their backs against the wall in the last match. Thus, Brathwaite has done his bit to keep his place in the Qualifier 2.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar was right on the money against the Men in Yellow in the first qualifier. The SRH pack leader will like to deliver the goods in the must-win match.
Rashid Khan
Rashid Khan has continued to breathe down the batsmen neck. The Afghan leg-spinner had scalped two wickets and gave away only 11 runs in his allotted overs in the previous match.
Siddharth Kaul
Siddharth Kaul has lost out on his boil in the last few games. The fast bowler will like to come back stronger in the imperative match against KKR.
Sandeep Sharma
Sandeep Sharma was able to take two wickets in the last match against CSK. However, the swing bowler leaked 30 runs in his three overs.
