Virat Kohli, the captain of the franchise, has not joined the team and will have land in the camp next week.

Players like Parthiv Patel, Manan Vohra, Kulwant Khejroliya, Aniket Choudhary, Murugan Ashwin and a few others have already joined the team’s camp.

Players like Navdeep Saini, Washington Sundar and a few others will join the team’s camp soon.

RCB is one of the five franchise plying its trade right from the inception of the league. Though, the team is yet to win an IPL trophy. RCB have played two finals but lost the games on both the occasions.

Under Virat Kohli, the team will look to scale new heights in the upcoming season.

He has been performing the captaincy duties right from 2013 but hasn’t been able to lead the team to a title victory.

Also, he has been associated with RCB right from the start of the league and Kohli will himself look to win the title this time.

He was retained by the franchise for an amount of Rs 17 Crore.

AB de Villiers and Sarfaraz Khan were the other two players whom the franchise retained.

The moment when Kohli was retained, it made him the only players in the history of IPL to be associated with a single team in all 11 editions of IPL.

Daniel Vettori will continue to spearhead the coaching staff of Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Recently, the franchise roped in Nehra as bowling coach and Gary Kirsten as batting coach. Nehra had played with Kohli while Kirsten was the coach of the team when India won the World Cup 2011.

The team has a perfect blend of best players and coaching staff and RCB team one of the strongest contenders to win the IPL trophy this year.

Royal Challengers Bangalore kick off their IPL campaign against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 8 at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
