Precisely, Ajinkya Rahane-led team has had a see-saw season until now while having won just three matches and lost as many. Eventually, the player battles proved to be another exciting thing in such a lucrative domestic professional Twenty20 league.
The Rajasthan Royals (RR) will host Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 28th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018 at their home venue in Jaipur on hot and humid Sunday afternoon.
Interestingly, champions of the inaugural edition of the IPL are coming into the match after pulling off an incredible win against defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI).
Interestingly, Royals will be up against the potent bowling line-up of Sunrisers.
When these two teams had met earlier in the season, Hyderabad had got the better of Rajasthan by nine wickets. Donning blue jersey, Royals were skittled out for a paltry total of 125. Thus, they would look to give a better batting performance.
Players Battle to Watch Out for:
Ajinkya Rahane vs Bhuvneshwar Kumar:
Bhuvneshwar Kumar has had wood on Ajinkya Rahane in the folklore of the IPL. The fast bowler has been able to dismiss the Royals’ captain on six occasions.
Meanwhile, no other bowler has got the better of Rahane on more than three times.
Out of these six instances when Sunrisers deputy has got the wicket of Royals opener, there have been four occasions when Rahane hasn’t even able to open his account.
On five of these six incidents, the swing master has given the wicket to his team (of Rahane) in very first over of the innings.

Meanwhile, Bhuvneshwar hasn’t played SRH’s last two matches due to an injury.
The pack leader is expected to make a comeback into the playing XI againstRoyals.
Exciting talent, Basil Thampi will have to make way for Bhuvneshwar despite having a good last couple of matches.
On the other hand, Ajinkya Rahane has got off to good starts in most of the matches, but Royals captain hasn’t able to make a substantial score thus far in the season.
Thus, Rahane owing to the key player battles would like to improve on his previous record against Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
