IPL 2018: 28th Match, RR vs SRH - Sunrisers Hyderabad Predicted XI

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will travel to Rajasthan Royal (RR) home ground for the 28th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018. The Orange Army so far won five matches out of the seven – to be placed at the second place in the points table of the ongoing edition eleven.

In the Twenty20 format which is generally dominated with the bat, Sunrisers’ bowlers went on to deliver desired results. They have a potent bowling line-up and their bowlers have done a terrific job.

On the other hand, they will take on Royals, who have had a mixed season so far.

Ajinkya Rahane-led team won three matches and they have also lost as many.

The last time these two teams had met earlier in the season, Sunrisers had trounced Rajasthan convincingly by nine wickets.

Shikhar Dhawan:

Shikhar Dhawan hasn’t delivered the goods after recuperating from his elbow injury.

The Indian southpaw is going to be instrumental in the success of SRH. Thus, it is pivotal that he remains at the top of his game.

Kane Williamson:

Kane Williamson was dismissed without troubling the scorers in the last match by Kings XI Punjab pacer Ankit Rajpoot.

Although, the Hyderabad skipper has scored 259 runs in the seven matches he featured in the tournament so far.

Wriddhiman Saha:

Wicketkeeper-batsman Wridhiman Saha has been outstanding behind the wickets.

However, Saha hasn’t able to contribute with the bat. Hence, he would also like to chip in his contribution.

Manish Pandey:

Manish Pandey struggled to find his timing in the last match. Though, the right-hander was able to contribute 54 invaluable runs to his team on a surface which provided to be helpful for the bowlers.

Shakib Al Hasan:

Shakib Al Hasan scored imperative 28 runs in the previous match when Hyderabad was behind the eight ball.

The all-rounder also scalped two wickets.

Yusuf Pathan:

Yusuf Pathan scored 21 runs in the previous game. The all-rounder has played some crucial knocks in the last couple of matches.

He would be aiming to score runs and win games for his side in the impending matches.

Mohammad Nabi:

Mohammad Nabi was on the expensive side in the last match. The Afghanistan all-rounder wasn’t also able to contribute with the bat.

Hence, Nabi will look to turn the tables to contribute owing to his traits.

Rashid Khan:

Rashid Khan is back to his usual best. The Afghan teenage leg-spinner scalped three wickets and conceded only 19 runs in the last game.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar:

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has missed the last couple of matches due to his injury.

The Hyderabad deputy should return to the final XI. Basil Thampi will have to make way for him despite performing well with the ball.

Siddharth Kaul:

Kaul went wicketless in the last match. Although, the fast bowler has really impressed with his pace and knuckleball variations.

The pacer has scalped nine wickets in the seven matches.

Sandeep Sharma:

Sandeep Sharma has also impressed with his performances. The fast bowler has got the ball to swing both ways.

Sharma took two wickets and gave away only 17 runs in his quota of four overs in the previous match for Sunrisers Hyderabad.
