Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will face selection problems ahead of their clash against Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on April 29 (Sunday) with Bhuvneshwar Kumar set to return to the first XI.

Meanwhile, Kumar missed the last two games due to an injury. However, Basil Thampi, who replaced him, grabbed the opportunity with both the hands. He returned with four wickets in two games, as Hyderabad defended two low targets.

However, the Sunrisers have mastered the art of defending low targets, as they did against Mumbai and Punjab.

The bowlers have done an exceptional job led by the Afghan spinner Rashid Khan. His return to form will be a huge boost for the Sunrisers.

Bhuvneshwar travels with the team

Meanwhile, the SRH dugout might find themselves in a spot of bother. They will have a selection headache, as Bhuvneshwar Kumar is likely to return to the squad.

SRH on their Twitter handle posted a pic a couple of days back where they announce they’re ready to take-off for Jaipur for their match against Royals.

Hyderabad will now face the problem of plenty with too many fast bowlers raring to go. However, the team management will not show the audacity to bench Kumar when he is fit.

But it will be interesting to see whom they opt out. Siddarth Kaul has been outstanding for them throughout the season while Sandeep Sharma and Thampi have also done well in the limited opportunities.

It will be interesting to see Kane Williamson’s strategy in the next game who has been lethal without the services of Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
