Kolkata Knight Riders owner Shah Rukh Khan recently posted a smiling picture of himself, after a request from skipper Dinesh Karthik post-KKR’s win over KXIP.

It was only a few days back when KKR were bundled out on 108 while playing against Mumbai Indians. As a result, KKR fans were disappointed with the recent losses.

However, the Knights came back into their winning ways against Kings XI Punjab by registering a mammoth 245 on the belter of a pitch at Indore.

My Captain @DineshKarthik asked me to smile cos I was so disappointed at the match before. This pic is for him. Thx @Russell12A @prasidh43 @SunilPNarine74 & #KKRTeam. Onwards & up,” captioned Shah Rukh Khan’s recent post on Twitter.

It was the Calypso power of Andre Russell and Sunil Narine which carried the KKR over the finishing line with both bat and ball.

Skipper Dinesh Karthik also brought up his maiden fifty this season with the help of his rapid 22-ball 50.
