One-time Indian Premier League (IPL) champion team, Sunrisers Hyderabad, will start the sale of tickets on Friday (March 23). This procedure is being followed for the eleventh season start on April 7 in Mumbai.

The news was made official by the IPL franchise itself on the microblogging site Twitter.

Sunrisers Hyderabad play seven games at their home i.e. Rajiv Gandhi international stadium, Hyderabad.

They will face Rajasthan Royals in the first game at home on April 9, whereas, their second game on the same venue will be against the defending champions Mumbai Indians on April 12.

Afte a gap of 10 days, Hyderabad will play their third game at home on April 22 against Chennai Super Kings followed by a contest against Kings XI Punjab on April 26.

After a small break between two home games, Hyderabad will face Delhi Daredevils and Royal Challengers Bangalore on May 5 and 7.

SRH’s last home game will come on May 19 against Kolkata Knight Riders.

Talking of the team, on paper, the David Warner led side looks the best side in comparison to every other team.

This team looks well-balanced and has every basis covered, unlike most of the teams.

The franchise has a leader in each and every department of the game, which we see missing in many of the franchises.

Starting from opening, it has likes of David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan while in the middle order, Manish Pandey and Yusuf Pathan provide strength to the team.

The team has Wriddhiman Saha as wicketkeeper, who is a proven gem behind the wickets.

In pace department, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is probably the best bowler at the moment and joining him will be Sidharth Kaul. He won many games for the team by bowling the last overs during IPL 2017.

The team also has many backups and youngsters in every department who can always come in in any case.

In short, the team did homework well before going into the auction and spent money wisely.

The decision of the franchise to retain David Warner and Bhuvneshwar Kumar was a great one.

It also got Dhawan at Rs 5.20 Crore in the auction. Had the franchise retained him, it would have had to pay him a bigger sum than this.

However, had the owners retained Rashid Khan ahead fo the auction, they wouldn’t have had to pay him a huge amount of 9 Crore.

He would have cost them much lesser than this amount had they retained him.
