IPL 2018: Suresh Raina Reveals the X-Factor in the Chennai Super Kings Camp

Chennai Super Kings (CSK) cricketer, Suresh Raina has recently revealed the name of the X-factors in the franchise’s camp of this edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Meanwhile, CSK is on a roll since their return to the Twenty20 league. Moreover, they have kept their record intact of reaching all the playoffs, as they became the second team to do so.

Suresh Raina has played some very fine knocks for his side in the competition thus far. However, Raina has credited the success of the Super Kings to MS Dhoni. Raina remarked that Dhoni is one of the best leaders in the world.

Further, he feels the presence of Michael Hussey in the dugout has done a world of good to the batsmen.

“There are a lot of X-factors in the Chennai Super Kings team. By God’s grace, we have qualified for the playoffs every single year we have played in the IPL. One factor I would say is MS Dhoni… he is the number one finisher in the world. He is definitely one of the top leaders in the world,” Raina said.

“Also, another big factor this year for CSK has been Michael Hussey. Hussey has played with me, Ambati Rayudu, Shane Watson earlier and he has made a big difference for us in this season,” the southpaw said.

No difference between Captain Dhoni and Player Dhoni

Raina maintained a clear stance there is no difference between a player Dhoni and a captain Dhoni. He revealed Dhoni is an honest leader who is always approachable for the youngsters in the team.

“There’s no difference between MS Dhoni as a player and as a captain. I have always felt that he is an honest captain. He works really hard with all the boys. He is very approachable for all the young players,” Raina concluded.
